- This non-profit organization is committed to developing research-based
performance art that examines critical issues and empowers individuals,
institutions and communities to initiate positive change. Topics range
from domestic abuse to suicide to substance abuse.
The plays are presented in communities and schools throughout northern and central Alberta.
Each production is followed by an audience discussion of the issues
raised in the play. Azimuth's method of using drama to teach about social issues and fostering discussion has proven to be a powerful way to encourage understanding and promote positive change.
